A calculation to express the future profit of a business, or project. We use it mainly in Development Finance to assess the scheme’s viability, but also the potential Loan that could be available. It’s also used by Private Banks, and Commercial Mortgage Lenders to assess a potential Borrowers ability to continue to service the Loan they offer.
